Louis Vuitton Now Makes Honey
Louis Vuitton installed a trio of beehives on the roof of its Parisian headquarters. Since then the hives have welcomed as many as 200,000 bees.
Hives installed in the middle of a city can actually yield up to four times the amount of honey those in the country produce according to French beekeepers association.
Two years later, the buzzy guests have gathered 75kg of nectar and produced enough honey that Vuitton decided to bottle the fruits of its apiculture.
The product is called La Belle Jardinière and says in fine print at the bottom of the label, “Produit a Paris par Louis Vuitton” (Produced in Paris by Louis Vuitton).
La Belle Jardiniere will be distributed as a gift to friends of Vuitton.

Ladurée has concocted limited-edition Halloween macarons, available October 21, which they guarantee will turn you into a "macaron eating zombie." In a blinding bright orange, the confections are fittingly flavored with orange passion fruit, all housed in a belle epoque style noir box with decadent gold trim. The scariest part of this scenario? They're exclusive to the Big Apple, meaning if you're not trick-or-treating here, you might as well be the living dead. Anna Dello Russo is the guardian of fashion — or so she says in her new promotional music video for her accessory line collaboration with H&M. The video features Dello Russo decked out in a tight black dress and her bling.
The line features jewelry, sunglasses, shoes, suitcases, and bags with a whole lot of gold and turquoise, which she describes as, “a dash of fairy tale magic, or Alice’s white rabbit – a door to a new dimension.” And it’s for a good cause! According to a press release, a portion of her commission will be donated to the Japanese branch of the International Red Cross.
